Crayon Rocks Bag of 16 in Red Velvet Bag
This bag contains 16 colourful soy wax Crayon Rocks in a red velvet storage bag.
Made from soy wax and coloured with mineral pigments Crayon Rocks are a fun and creative way for children to draw and colour in pictures and practice their mark-making. As well as being lots of fun these rock shaped crayons are extremely durable and long-lasting, and allow children to colour in large wide strokes and help strengthen the tripod grip muscles.
These unusual pebble-shaped crayons are specially designed to be ergonomic in preschoolers hands and are developmentally appropriate for early years learning. Designed by American Special Needs teacher Barbara Lee, who knew how important it was for all children to develop a good, strong “tripod” grip (using thumb, first and second fingers to grip) and develop fine motor skills, in preparation for learning to write. A brilliant first colouring tool for young children, in lovely vibrant colours that can be layered to create textures and beautiful artwork. Made in rural Kentucky in the USA and certified non-toxic and are vegan friendly.
